Today for cybersmart we did teaser week for the summer learning journey I not doing it but this what I have to do I need to write similes so here are they.

S.T.E.M Bridge

W.A.L.T: problem solve as a team.
Today for S.T.E.M we had to build a bridge we only had 15 sticks, 6 wide sticks and 10 rubber bands but we were late and got 15 wide sticks and 10 rubber bands we had to build a bridge that could hold two books.
What went well: it could hold two books.
What are your next step: plan what we did.

Sand Dunes

Today we went on a trip to the beach and learnt about the sand dunes.
Here's how they form first they start at the mountains then the rocks fall off by erosion then fall into the river and the rocks will turn into sand and the river leads to the ocean then the ocean moves on the beach then the wind is coming from the east because the wind comes 75% from the east making sand dunes.
There are plants on the sand dunes called marine grass, pingao, spinifex and ice plant sand dunes can protect houses stormy waves can destroy sand dunes.
There are also creatures in there like a spider, a gecko, then we went off to build a sand dune and do stuff to it like how a stormy wave would do to the sand dune.
Then we had morning tea then we made sand ladders and decorate our sand dunes here's our one.

Playstation

This week we have been doing a passion project I chose Playstation we had to do 5 facts and why we have chosen it and who/where/when/why invented it who inspired me and some information.
we were looking at this because we were finding what makes us happy and I did this because I love playing on my Playstation.

S.T.E.M Marble run

Today for S.T.E.M we had to make a marble run this our one.
what went well: that it worked and we did a turn.
Challenging: that it keeps moving around and messed up when you lift it.
Next step: to make a better structure than we did.

YOU-WHO-DO-THROUGH

WALT: Write a prayer using the you-who-do-through Structure.

In class we have been learning to write a prayer using a simple structure.

I like using this structure because its really simple.

here they are.

Loving God You fill us with love and kindness Help us to bring peace and joy to others We ask this through Christ our Lord Amen.

God our creator You fill our hearts with faith Send us your Spirit to make us strong in faith and active in good works We make this prayer in Jesus's name Amen.

Faithful God You lead us in your ways Teach us courage to believe in you Through Christ our Lord Amen.

Swimming

For the last two weeks we have been having swimming lessons at QEII we did a bunch of activities I learnt how to treat water and what to do if your in trouble. The worst part for me is when we had to take off our goggles and swim without them because when I get water in my eyes they start to hurt. The best part for me is when we had to get on the boat and we had to fall backwards in the water and we had life jackets on this is my favourite part because it is fun falling off the boat. The hardest thing to learn was treating water because you have to use your hands and feet to stay floating and you are not allowed to touch the ground. What would be the hardest thing for you if your school was doing swimming lessons?

How to make a marmite sandwich

Today we had to make instructions about how to make a sandwich so I did a marmite sandwich. This is what happened when my teacher made it went well until I forgot to say to put the butter knife with the sharp end when scooping it so I went back and fixed it.
So here is my fixed instructions:

Materials: Two pieces of bread, a butter knife and marmite.

1.Take two pieces of bread out from the packet.
2.Grab your marmite and open the jar.
3.Grab your butter knife and scoop your marmite out of the jar with the sharp end of your butter knife.
4.Then spread your marmite onto the face of one of the bread pieces.
5.Then grab your other piece of bread and put it onto the face that has Marmite on it.
6.Take a bite.

Manners in what we say

We had to make a manners poster with the manners and what we say we had to use pictures so I did this it is hard to see. Manners are for being really nice and we should be using them everyday and I need to work on saying pardon when when I can't hear something I usually say what or huh so that's my manners poster and I hope you enjoyed.

Abraham and Sarah

In the book of Genesis is the story of Abraham and Sarah. When the story begins they are called Abram and Sarai they obeyed Gods call and went to a land called Canaan. God said that he will give the land to them and all there descendants. God changed there names to Abraham and Sarah they really wanted a child but then when Abraham was 75 years old Sarah got pregnant and had kids

Ash and the Pikazard's Journey

A narrative is a story with a problem and a solution.

This is my story...

One day Ash’s buddy Pikachu evolved into an unknown Pokemon, it looked like a Charizard and Pikachu. It has wings it is yellow and it has an electric effect. After Ash decided to make up a name, Ash decided Pikazard, after that we got teleported to an abandoned place.

Ash saw Ho-oh, (a legendary Pokemon) but it looked different “Ho-oh what happened why are we here!” Ash yelled, “wait did you evolve into a Mega Ho-oh?” asked Ash.

Ho-oh randomly attacks Pikazard then Pikazard uses his powerful attacks, they are Dragon bolt and Thunder rage. Pikazard puts his hand out and gives Ash a z move it is a powerful move that is stronger than its normal moves but he is going to save it.

“Why are you attacking us” said Ash, Ho-oh kept on attacking them. He's gone psycho and trying to destroy all Pokemon in the world.

Ash thought it would be a good time to use the z move, but then something happened to Ho-oh like it is going for its final attack.

So Ash is going to use its z move “I'm going to use my z move on you Ho-oh” said Ash. “Pikazard use your z move, use electric dragon blast” said Ash, Ho-oh tried to escape the blast but it was too powerful to escape.

Ash won against Ho-oh and he wanted to catch it but couldn’t because it would be wrong. Then Ash took it to the Pokemon centre to heal it nurse Joy was shocked that he was able to defeat Ho-oh.

Places you can pray

Today we looked at this bible verse then we had to go on a google drawing and these things, have the bible verse, at least three places you can pray and who you can pray with. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them Matthew 18:20 this means God is saying that he will be with us.



Worship means to worship something or someone as a God

The Perfect Presentation Play

Today we did plays with room 4 and I am about to tell you about my play that my reading group the play is called the perfect presentation and these are the people and there characters.
Makayla:Ramari, Kloe:Isabella, Miller:Freddy, Me:Theo, Jennifer:Charlotte and Lily:Nico and Sione.
What was hard for us is trying to listen so we could practice and I enjoyed the whole play.

Public or Private Information

W.A.L.T understand public and private information and identify them.
Today for Cybersmart we had to highlight stuff about public and private information.
if you thought it was private you would highlight it red if you thought it was public you would highlight it green and if you were unsure you would highlight it orange.
Then we had to make up our own by copy and paste one of the things and change all of the things to whatever we want so here what i did but its not finished.

JMs Chromebook sale

For writing we had to make a google drawing about a ad trying to convince Miss Holland to buy a chromebook you can see what I typed.

About the holy spirit

For RE we learned about the holy spirit what is a advocate, about the spirit of truth.
So I did a google drawing about it with Mace in my class it says what a advocate means, spirit of truth is and why the holy spirit is important.

Public vs Private

So today we had mark and talked about private and public info so I did a Powtoon on public and private info you can watch it  if you want we didn't have that much time so rushed and so you can enjoy and I recommend don't send anything private unless you have met them face to face.

Public and private information

Today we had mark come in to teach us about private information you can share stuff like your favourite food, movie and your personality these kind of stuff is public information it can be fun you can get contact with other people that you can trust.
private information can be like your full name, address and your date of birth you should not share it online if people get this information they could identify who you are 

Play PowToon

Today in class we used a app called PowToon I made a intro and I changed the different stuff they did we had a play around and learn different features.
I did a happy new years 2019 intro with someone waving hello then I did another slide of someone getting angry at his son there are alot of things you can do on PowToon when it says pro next to the things means you have to pay for the things.
